Email file attachments on scramble day are not recommended. Why?

1. Too many documents to download which takes alot of time
2. Attachments in the eyes of residency programs may contain viruses and they rather not open them

Solution: A direct link to your application with a company that can host them for you. ElectronicResidency.com uses this method. The documents hosted by Electronic Residency do not require a download and they only require a click.

Here a sample:

Also remember NOT TO fax all documents at 12:00PM ET on March 18th since that will be considered "Flooding". You start with faxing a one page credentials page which introduces you to the programs first then if they are interested they may request you to send all docuemtns trough ERAS or they may visit you hosted site to view the documents first. NRMP has warned against "Flooding" residency program with unsolicited applications but one page introdcution is a considerate thing to do.
