About B1/B2 Visa

friends i would like to share my experience on the more important aspect of doing residency. in mid september i attended a visa interview in chennai, inidia the 4th busiest US embassy in world and notorius for its rejection judgements. when you are there usually an embassy officer will adress the gathering and make you feel bit relaxed. when the visa officer calls you, it usually begins with informal greeting. the first question he asked me was your current employer and what i am doing, followed by series of questions on step scores , the purpose of travel and family ties. i suggest the candidate should be prepared to answer these common questions which are asked to everyone. be ready to justify whatever you say and preferabley with written documents as proof. they stress a lot on step 1 scores. if you are staying with somebody in usa and not in hotel be ready with I-134 form. if you are working take a letter from your current employer. last thing BE CONFIDENT AND ANSWER TO THE POINT, DO NOT ARGUE. i am taking my CS in first week of NOV, hope to see some of you there,
good luck

can anybody answer this? im applying for a tourist visa very soon. hopefully in 2 weeks, anyways i'm unemployed at the moment, do u think i stand a chance of being successful? my relatives in the us will be sponsoring me. im just going for my grandmother's 80th birthday in august. now the embassy over here will not accept any documents of proof, just your passport and reciept of visa payment along with appoinment letter. any advice on what to stress on to prove i will return? thanx

If u r married then u can show them that u have dependents in yur country.By that they may get convinced that u will return back to yur country.
