hi....... i am doing internship in India. it will end on 31 dec,2010. can i apply 4 clerkship for the month of jan n feb if i'll get extension of 15 days so that my internship will not b completed by dec. but in my transcript graduation date written is 31 dec 2010. so how should i apply? or should i get my graduation date changed?

U will be graduating from yur medical school once u complete yur internship.After graduating from yur medical school u will not be able to go for any electives.U need to apply for electives now and schedule them in a way that they fall within the period of yur internship and not after it.U can do this by taking some months off for electives and later complete the remaining internship month(s) after returning from the US.This way yur graduation date will be delayed and the same will be written on yur medical school transcript.
