Dear adonis, about the CV, when applying to residency program, one should write his CV in the application form, but do they ask for documentations from your original country, I'm asking that because I worked in Iraq as a physician and I'm now in the US and it's very dificult to get these papers since a lot of physicians have left the Iraq and they put a lot obstacles to get the papers?
Would the residency programs put that fact into consideration?
Also I heard you talk about CT Certification of Licensure, what is that?
Thank you very much

It is better to have the papers documenting yur experiences ready with u at the time of yur interview.Mostly programs donot suspect their applicants so they believe in what applicants mention in their CVs.I have not so far heard from anyone about a program asking them to show their experience letters.
Yur explanation seems plausible and may be enough to convince the programs.
CT is the Certification of Licensure Form which one needs to submit to the Illinois Physician Licensure Board. An applicant needs to submit the CT Form both from the State of original licensure and from that of current licensure.
Good Luck!
