HI Guys,

I have couple of questions on ERAS , I will be thankfull if u addess my questions.
1- regarding the LOR, I have one from the last year and my writer is going to update it so I am not sure should I inform ERAS about it ,and not send programs the old LOR , or i can it done automatically .
2- regarding the poster presentation , I did one in my country , a prospective study ( questioneer type) and presented in the research day of the medical school but not published and not tried to do that , so this consider poster presentaion or not.
that is all for this time , thank you very much .

It is better if u get the LORs uploaded and keep the ERAS CAForm ready by September 1st,2010.This because programs review complete applications on 'first come, first served basis'.So, if u can get yur new LOR uploaded by September, 1st then that wud be much better.

It cud be inluded in ERAS if u had got it published in some journal, magazine, etc.

Good Luck!

HI ADONIS , THANK YOU, regarding the LOR, I have the updated one now but I am afraid the ERAS got confused and sends the old one because it was surgery directed one and this one is general. I mean how I make sure this is the new one sent for the programs not the old. I hope I cleared myself.

thanks

If you are submitting a replacement LoR from the same writer, attach a note to it that reads, "This replaces the previous LoR." Otherwise, ERAS might mistake it for the LoR they have already scanned and discard it without scanning.

I hope u got the answer.
Good Luck!
