Hello.I am a registered doctor from India.I am thinking to write USMLE this year.can anyone explain me what is the exact procedure of getting a job in U.S for IMG after passing USMLE.
U need to pass at least one USMLE Step in order to apply to US residency programs,but it is preferable to pass all the three USMLE Steps viz. USMLE Steps 1,2CK and 2CS before applying to US residency programs thro' Eras Residency Application Service(ERAS).
Residency training is the first job which every IMG has to do in the US before taking up anyother physician job.
