About Job and Residency in the US

hello
am junior medical student from Finland , soon to start the house job. I currently have a plan to come Minnesota,MN where i want to stay with my relatives living there while giving the examination USMLE step 1 maybe till the results.
my question is if i pass step1 am i able to get job of course within short period i have a plan to give step2 as well (I heard to get a job I've to get high scores & thats my target too).
Can you please give me a details how this examination & job system works & its requirements? what about residency?
because i have good Ambition and optimistic about it when i arrive there it would be sad to return back as loser and please add whatever suggestions you might have as well.

To get a physician job in the US u will need to complete a residency in the US in any specialty.U will only then get the license to practice in the US.After u complete a residency training in the US u can work as a doctor in the hospitals but never without it.
For getting into a residency program u will need to pass the USMLE Step-1,Step-2CK,Step-2CS together with the verification of yur medical degree in order to get an ECFMG Certificate.U will need to apss these USMLE Steps with high scores and on the first attempt only in order to get into a competitive residency program.
U can apply for these USMLE Steps thro' the website 'www.ecfmg.org.'
After u pass all these Steps u will need to apply thro' the ERAS website to the various residency programs.
