U need to have two different personal statements for Prelim n Transitional Year Programs coz the clinical trainiing in both these programs r different.In TY programs u have rotations in different specialties while in Prelim Programs u r devoted to a single specialty.TY Programs r more or less like rotatory internship years.

U can also mention about yur interest in Neurology in your PS for TY or Prelim programs.
