HI Guys ,
Please I would like to know what they mean by publication exactly . I mean if someone name listed in a research but not the first name , can we regard this as a publication ? Thanks.

Ye, anything whether a research,case report,etc which gets published in a journal,magazine,etc. is a publication.If it is published in a peer-reviewed journal then the publlication carries much more weight.
Yes, a single publication can be co-authored by multiple people.So,one can be a first-author,second-author,etc.
