U can take the exams,but when u would applying to residency programs they will pay attention to the years elapsed since yur graduation.This is why it will be difficult for u to get a residency in the US.
If u still r detemined then u can proceed but u need to score very high on the USMLE exams and pass them all on the first attempt.
Wat have i been doing al these yrs ?Whether u have a continuous clinical experience,or a PG at home will also determine yur chances.
In conclusion, if u wanna still proceed then take the exams but don't keep high yur hopes of getting a residency there.But,no one can also clearly that u won't get it.

babbu5508 - 12-30-10 23:49 u have a chance of getting into residency if you have high scores and good usce, provided there are no lapses in your cv....
