It contains no pass/fail results or scores.It only contains the dates when u took the USMLE Steps.

ECFMG Status report is sent by ERAS to the programs.It can be regarded an electronic version of ecfmg certificate.

that must be a simplified way of seeing things, but i think there is some difference because i am not certified yet but still my eras account on ADTS shows an ecfmg status report

Ye, it will show yur current status to the programs as not yet certified or verified.
Just understand the literal meaning of the word.
In a nut shell, it shows an applicant's current status.
As u earlier said that u needed a copy of the ECFMG Status Report ,so I said that if everything is complete as regards ECFMG certification, then it is just an electronic version of the ECFMG Certificate.So, when everything has been completed then it is just what I said.
ECFMG Status Reports contain the following information:
•USMLE/ECFMG Identification Number
•Applicant name
•ECFMG-certified: (Yes or No)
•Certificate issue date
•Exams passed for ECFMG Certification
•CSA valid through date, if applicable
•Explanatory notes
