hello doctok!
could somebody pls help me on how to get admitted into a medical school in usa.
i am a medical student outside usa and have completed all the basic science courses and some aspect of int med and surgery!
do i need to write the MCAT?

Which medical school r u enrolled in?The rank of yur medical school will also matter.
They will look at yur MCAT scores,Under-gaduate GPA primarily.
They may also look at yur USMLE scores and medical school performance.
It is pertinent to mention that it is still very difficult to migrate to a US medical school because there r not many such spots in US medcal schools.Some medical school students from carribean medical schools(St. George,Ross) do migrate to US medical schools,but they r only few in number.
Some of the US medical schools which accept such international students include:
University of Vermont
MCP Hahnemann-Drexel
Southern Illinois University
Brown University
Dartmouth College
NEOUCOM
George Washington University
They may ask u to repeat some of yur coursework as well.This varies from school to school.
