If u have passed the USMLE Step-3 then u can send a paper application request to FSMB in order to recieve USMLE Transcripts.
If you have recently taken USMLE Steps 1,2, or 3 and need that score to appear on your EBAHR, please do not send this request until you have received your official score report for that Step.
The Federation issues official transcripts within 5 business days of receiving the completed EBAHR request and appropriate fee.
If u have not passed the USMLE Step-3 then u need to send the request to ECFMG only.

In my opinion, u shud wait until u pass Step-3 and then apply to FSMB for a transcript.This way u will be paying for the transcript onetime to the FSMB rather than paying both to the ECFMG and then to FSMB.
FSMB will issue yur transcript within 5 days of recieving yur paper application .

actually i called the ECFMG and they said that I need to contact the FSMB since I have already applied for Step 3... i could have waited until I have my scores but i need to have my transcripts sooner.. so i guess i need to contact fsmb people..

Oh, so u have registered for step-3, then u need to apply to the FSMB only.If u want yur Step-3 score to appear on yur transcript then u need to wait until u pass it.
