all those who want observership please make it fast
there is great deal of work u can do while doing observerships
ya its very correct that u r not supposed to touch the patients
but there are lot of activities u will be involved into
and in direct communication with the attendings and residents
if not anything u will know how the system runs here
this year season starts in september and all of us need to gather lors and the more usce the better
its already MAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

see i got an appartment in north beach
and through usmleforum i got one room mate
so we both shared it
regarding commuting buses are good means of transport in maimi
u need not worry so much
my experience u should try for accomodation near south beach as transportation is very good there, starts 5 in morning till 12 in night
secondly try craiglist or rent.com for rentals
beleive me there r many rentals available in maimi
it wont be a problem

DO you guys think is the best to contact directly.Who should you contact?
As for Observeship at Mount Sinai what are the courses they offer?Which one is the best to get.Is there any condition,or depends on what speciality do you want to apply for your own residency?
Please feedback needed.
P.S I don't bite so write me with any helpful info. lol

Re: all those going for observerships..f radhamesramos - 05-14-08 13:18 if you are interested in doing an observership in surgery at Jackson Memorial in Miami is Evelyn Gotera, she is the responsible for the rotations in surgery. For other specialties, I don't know.
