conym5 - 04-08-10 20:22 Vancomycin is indicated for the treatment of serious or severe infections caused by susceptible strains of methicillin-resistant (beta-lactam-resistant) staphylococci.

methicillin resistant staphylococci should be treated by parenteral vencomycin which is the only drug of choice...
