The actions of Angiotensin II include: 1) Potent vasoconstriction to increase blood pressure. 2) Increases in Na/H exchange and HCO3 reabsorption in proximal tubules 3) Aldosterone release, which increases intravascular volume 4) ADH release, which increases intravascular volume 5) Hypothalamic stimulation to generate a thirst sensation
