TheOne - 06-05-08 04:47 Have you tried the USMLE CD that comes with your approval for the test. If not, go to usmle.org and check their test orientation materials and download the Step 3 materials (MCQs + CCS) and try it out.
Clock forwarding is a process where you vertually travelling to the future to get your management (tests, medication, consultation, follow-up, etc.) results. In a realistic world we ask for tests on our patients and we wait for minutes, hours, days or even weeks before they come in, well, on the CCS we have only 25 minutes (20 interactive case-management minutes + 5 case diagnosis minutes). So to assess if you are a "Safe Doctor Under Unupervised Setting" which is the whole deal of Step 3 test, the system is made vertual where you can advance time only.
