Ask about sexual history in every case

just while i'm busy with application and mails to coordinators my cs preparation is taking a back seat,so i thought.....
do we have to take sexual history in every case whether required or not? i doubt this coz first aid has included in every single case,
also do we have to ask cage questionaire in every person who amits to using alcohol,even in less quantities....
and then what about pre-HIV counselling if sexual history has positive risk factors for HIV do we directly advise sp to go for testing or tell him to undergo counselling first coz thats what is ideal.....

- Do we have to take sexual history in every case whether required or not? Yes, briefly if it's irrelevant and in detail if it's an STD, UTI, HIV, etc.
- Also do we have to ask cage questionaire in every person who amits to using alcohol,even in less quantities? No, only if there's a history of alcohol beverages consumption in large quantities.
- What about pre-HIV counselling if sexual history has positive risk factors for HIV do we directly advise sp to go for testing or tell him to undergo counselling first coz thats what is ideal? Counselling first, emphasize on protective sexual techniques.
