Re: breast carcinoma 2
usmlefever3 - 11-18-08 01:30 intraductal paillomaThe 28-year-old woman with a bloody nipple discharge most likely has an intraductal papilloma located in the lactiferous duct. The involved duct is identified by applying pressure circumferentially around the nipple to see which lactiferous duct is emptying blood. There is no danger for transformation into a papillary cancer. A segmental resection of the lactiferous duct is recommended.

kingofhearts - 11-19-08 13:54 well paget's cells are histological features seen in pagets's disease.....these cells may be singly present or in clusters in the epidermis and are larger than theepidermal cells, spherical, having hyperchromatic nuclei with cytoplasmic halo that stains positively with mucicarmine.paget's cells are adenocarcinoma-type cells.....

Re: breast carcinoma 2
usmlefever3 - 11-20-08 03:11 pyllodes tumour has proliferation of stromal cells with no lymph node involvement ...so the treatment should be simple mastectomy

Re: breast carcinoma 2
bingousmle - 11-20-08 03:24 its called so because itt resembles some kind of leaf, also called cystosarcoma phyllodes. since there is a chance that some part may remain during removal and lead to recurrence its best to do a mastectomy
