You need to finish the few months of your PGY-1 and see what I'm talking about ;)
Remember, people look at you as a walking pile of cash!! and there are lotsa, I mean lotsa gold-diggers.

About the gold-diggers, I understood that when I was doing the obsie, and the poor residents didn't get any loving with the nurses, and the attendants were the center of attraction

There will always be some good speculators who will invest some love in you for the bigger gain once you be an attendant, they know that once you reach that point and you're free then you will be picky about whom you will date.
A funny but a wise story I've herad was when an attendent was advicing his obsies and residents "to make a good relationship with the nurses", the reason was simply "these guys gossip about everyone and anyone, and on your first few months they can, litterly, make you or brake you!!".
