Cbc, Cmp,Pt/ptt, Blood group and cross match
Serum tsh,Serum estrogen,Serum lh,Serum fsh
Abdominal usg
Pap test, Cervical culture
If the hb level Normal dietTransfusion of prbc 2 unit
When the usg shows endometrial hyperplasia...:Order:-HysteroscopyEndometrial biopsy
If the biopsy result shows - endometrial hyperplasia with no atypia: Order:-Premarin po Iron sulfate, po-Rated sex
If biopsy shows atypia:-----Consult obg----Hyterectomy

since this can be a case of carcinoma as well do we initially treat the patient as a office case or should we admit the patient from the beginning ?

Postmenopausal bleeding - Recurrence of bleeding in a menopausal woman at least 6 months to 1 year after cessation of cycles..work up should be directed toward finding a carcinoma..

You are correct it is imperative to start up a investigation to r/o carcinoma in a patient with post menopausal bleed. In CCS we are supposed to manage a patient from the beginning till end through a Computer simulated software, where we have to decide the appropriate location as well... Adonis waiting for your opinion...
