I have a question: in my past I had TB of lung and have several tuberculomas 3-5 sm in size which have been calcified, since that time i did not have any activation, size of tuberculomas don,t change. all that was about 10 years agol
question: do I have some restriction to work in health care system, get in any residency program?

TheOne - 02-16-08 13:15 A full medical check will be performed once you're accepted in a residency program to see if you qualify physically & mentally for your new job requirments. I don't think there's a restriction in your case as long as your immunocompetent.

mindswapper - 02-17-08 21:39 U shud undergo a full evaluation and u gotta prove that u are no longer infective!

radhamesramos - 02-19-08 18:56 they will perform the studies and some lab tests, if you prove to be in latent state, you will be giben the 9 month therapy
