Csfailure
anzar04 - 01-06-08 01:54
Dear Friends,
My Credentials
step1 216/88
step2 243/98
Visa status Gc
usce: yes
But I flanked cs and retook it waiting for results.
What are my chances for eventual match and how should I proceed.
Thank you

InSitu - 01-06-08 02:16 Well ERAS is still open but it is very tough at this time. Prepare to scramble if you get your CS before the scramble on March 18th.

Re: Csfailure
InSitu - 01-06-08 02:27 Increase your chances by:
1. Becoming a US citizen :)
2. Add US clinical experience to your file
3. Pass CS on your next attempt
4. Apply to the right programs
5. Write a good personal statement
6. Prepare for the interviews
I will add more if I remember :)

Re: Csfailure
InSitu - 01-06-08 02:38 Green card is as good as US citizen. Residency main concern is to have you sponsored and that is a headache for them. If you are a GC then you are good.
