a 70yrold widow , who lives with her son, comes with complaints of chest pain. on p/e you note abrasions on her back and healed scars. she says her diet is decreased.how you go about this patient....
do a family counselling/send her to a nursing home where she can be cared for/talk about the abuse with her family/notify social authorities/tell her that you feel sorry for her , but you are helpless since this is her family matter..
