Delay in step-3 Results.

This is for the information of those who have taken Step-3 exam in march,april,2009 with the new software.
The USMLE says:
"The target date for reporting Step 3 scores for most examinees testing from early March through late April will be Wednesday, May 13, 2009.
During the transition of Step-3 to new software, turnaround time for some examinees may be as long as 6 to 8 weeks."

USMLE Step-3 results declared on 6th of may ,2009 instead of 13th may ,2009 i.e., a week earlier than the target date.

bingousmle - 06-18-10 08:10 adonis what are these new changes that were made? can you provide the details as in was there a significant change in the pattern of questions asked? coz i have heard that they have grouped questions and if you answer the first ? incorrectly you ll lose the marks for the remaining ones as well.
