ampicilline + gentamycin combinations can also be good with clindamycin..
vacomycine+gentamycin combination is good..

As the patient is a known diabetic he has a very poor healing hence the sore shud immediately be looked after n taken up for immediate debridement n then the patient put on some potent antibiotics like Vancomycin.
