Hello Adonis,last time i asked u about saudi licensing exam.U told me about certain books which I shud review. Well i did FIRST Aid for Step-1.I want to know if it is enough for the preparation of SLE?

I had asked u to study First Aid for USMLE Step-3 and not First Aid for USMLE Step-1.SLE is an exam based on the clinical science subjects not the basic science subjects.Again I urge u to use the following material:
As the MCQs are often repeated, it is a good idea to read the old questions, many such papers are available on the internet; search google for it.
*One greatly useful book for this exam is the First Aid for the USMLE step 3. This book has short notes on medicine, gynae/obstetrics, paediatrics and psychiatry.
*Read some short notes on surgery.
*Going through Oxford Handbook of Clinical Specialties will also be beneficial.
*If you can find a book called "Comprehensive Review for Saudi Licence Exam" by Dr Yahya M Al-Khladi. This book is available in Jarir bookstore, Riyadh. It is a good book with more than 800 mcqs, especially formulated from the point of view of the SLE exam.

nidayasir - 02-06-10 12:08 ya actually i didn't mention i downloaded the whole set of FIRST AID FR USMLE STEP 1,2,3,......ya , okay step 3 contains notes i will hv its review too thanx alot fr ur kind suggestions adonis tc

Just do the First Aid for USMLE Step-3 only alongwith the books I mentioned above.
