mohaider, good that you collecting info, but every thing is good according to the time, as far as i know you have booked a exam ck2, which takes hell out of you, by worrying around about observership and cs dates you are getting distracted, which may prove very expensive in future,
if you hate receiving anymore assumptions and advice from me in particular, just ask me to mind my bussiness, sorry in advance.

Not at all.My plan is to take Ctep 2 CK in December and CS in January ,so I'm thinking in observership and when to book a place after CS before I go back to my country.

I think it's distracting but good to have an idea to modify my plans because I want to apply for the next year match .

ok coz at that point when i was telling you to concentrate on exam, i suddenly felt, i'm too intrusive,plannin is good and gather info as much as you can my suggestion(since you ready and and i'm more than happy doing it)-go around in previous posts, old posts and you'll get wealth of info from all the mentors of the forum, good luck!!

many residencies now require hands on clinical experience. Observerships are not counted much.

I recently had an inv in the city where I live. At the end of my interview day I asked the PD if there is any chance for me to do observeship to get to know the program better. The PD was more than happy to give this opportunity. What I am trying to show you all is , just use every single opportunuty that you have got. I have nine invs and don't need any observship, but if I get know the system in the USA befor my residency , why not!!!
Use every opportunity, ask for it, it dose not hurt, all you might hear is a NO.
