I am working in a research and my work includes contacting the patients by taking brief relevent history besides the consent and then attending all laproscopies with the attendings. so can this regarded observership. thanks

In my opinion, it is more than a mere observership as u r being allowed to take history,etc. from the patients.
If u r also collecting data for a research survey then it is also a research work.
In a nutshell,the nature of this experience will be determined solely by wat they mention on the certificate which u will be getting at the end of yur experience.
