Doing A US Residency After A PG in India

I have been told by a friend that in US, we are not given a hands-on approach towards a patient like here in India....is that true???
If yes, what r the implications if i want to come back to India after studying there???
Also, would it be more beneficial to just go for residency there after i finish my pg here????

There is nothing like that.U have to think according to the standard of training which is the best in the west.
If u want to come back to India after doing a fellowship in the US then u will have a great future in India in private sector.
If u finish a PG degree in India before going to the US then u will no longer remain a fresh graduate.It is better to be within three years of graduation though it is usually possible to get into a residency program if one is within five years of graduation.Afterwards it becomes difficult to get into a residency program.
