Dr.Red's step3 courses

I followed one of the recommendations on this forum and I attended this course. Very precise, Dr.red is highly approachable, very knowledgeabl;e and patiently answers all questions. All topics are very highyield, did not find in most books or review courses but these were what frequently tested on step3. Preventive medicine, Cardio, endo, gastro, ID, Derm and Pulm werethe best of all. Furthermore, very affordable course. I paid $169 for everything including study material
CCS Workshop is another different story - i paid $88 for it- it took me to a different level in step3 ccs approach. I am so confident now. . Dr.Red is doing very noble thing by keeping the cost involved very very low! His courses are also referred to as Archer's step3 courses. I highly recommend this workshop and rapid review. Waiting to take the exam in another week. I will post my exam experience too

Re: Dr.Red's step3 courses
meduploader - 01-05-09 14:00 I think this is a commercial post.
I dont rate CCS workshop higher.
UW CCS cases are good and it has interactive software too for practice. And UW MCQs are time tested for step 2 CK and step 3. Kaplan are goood too. I seen slides of reeds review, its not so useful for this amount of money.

longterm - 01-05-09 22:50 hey meduploader, i suspect you are the one who is commercial. Do not blame others with out having a clue of what you are talking about.
I just posted my opinion because this is a public forum and i thought this was the best fit for anyone looking for highyield lectures ata n affordable price. I have no more connection than that!
UW is definitely good and I am doing them too.
But I will never follow their software,...i heard there are several differences from the real software and that will screw up my performance on primum. The best idea would be to read UW cases in paper format and practice on Primum software itself!
I aint have that kind of money and time to waste on KAPLAN! No way! I rate it 2/5 - not useful when it comes to step3. So far the best I have found is Archer's online that is Dr.Red's courses that addresses Step3 topics on the dot!! nothing beats it!

As far as I know they do not hold any classroom courses. They just offer their courses thro' the Webinar i.e., live lectures thro' the internet on an appointed day.
Good Luck.
