doppler usg is useful.......
ascending contrast venography is the best method i guess.....
ipg.....

kingofhearts - 11-21-08 03:58 impedence plethysmography (ipg) accurately detects above knee thrombi.....radiofibrinogen method is very accurate in calf vein n lower thigh thrombi.....

kingofhearts - 11-21-08 13:25 bed rest and elevation of limbs,heparin injection,inferior vena caval filters can be inserted percutaneously via femoral vein in patients where in lytic therapy is contraindicated...
