i passed step 1 & step 2 CK and recently i took CS. the results of CS will be in the last week of march 08. am i eligible to scramble for this year residency even before i get the ECFMG certificate?

Re: eligibility for scrambling TheOne - 01-29-08 16:59 I'm sorry to tell "No", there's a rule in the NRMP that clearly says an applicant should be ready "ECFMG certified" for the residency program "the Match and scramble" before Feb. 22nd of each fiscal year.

Re: eligibility for scrambling radhamesramos - 01-30-08 10:53 but you can contact the programs by yourself, it would be hard, since most program directors would ask for you ECFMG certificate. The thing is, since you are not NRMP eligible, you won't receive the unfilled programs list, unles somebody gives it to you
