ERAS Return of Document Service Opens

It is for information of all the applicants that Return of Document Service (RODS) is expected to become available for the ERAS 2010 application season on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. When RODS becomes available, IMGs participating in ERAS 2010 may request the return of documents submitted to ERAS Support Services at ECFMG for the ERAS 2010 application season. IMGs participating in ERAS may request the return of documents submitted for the current ERAS application season only.
The deadline for requesting return of ERAS 2010 documents is May 31, 2010. Documents will be destroyed if a request for their return is not received by this deadline. Please allow four to six weeks from the date of request for processing.
To request return of documents, applicants should access ECFMG’s On-line Applicant Status and Information System (OASIS), go to ERAS Support Services, click on “ERAS RODS Request,” and follow the instructions. To request return of documents, applicants must make an on-line request via ECFMG’s OASIS.

Yes, the same scanned documents can be used for the next season as well.If u r applying in the coming season u donot need to send them again to ERAS.
Ye, u must get yur original MSPE and other unwaived LORs back or otherwise the ECFMG will destroy them.The ERAS does not send the waived LORs back.
