I m n IMG and my step-1 score is 237/99.soon i will be taking my step-2. how do u find this score for getting into a paediatric residency in a top university u mentioned in your post.

Try to get a 99 on Step-2CK as well.Pass Step-2CS on first attempt.Get US Clinical experience in Pediatrics in the form of observerships or clerckships(if u have not yet graduated).Get at least three very strong USLORs from that US experience.If possible,try to get some publications alongwith some research work.If u r ale to do all this then I believe there is definitely a possibility for u to join some good University Pediatric residency program.
About going into Harvard,Johs Hopkins,Yale,etc.I want to say that it is still difficult as an IMG to get into such top ranking programs no matter what one's cresentials r.This because they r very sought-after programs and very popular among American Medical Graduates.
Despite all this there is no harm in giving it a try even at such top-ranking programs.
