What do programs look negatively on, for an application? I've just heard so many different things....maybe I can get the real low down on it now. When do you know you have to start prepping yourself for the Scramble?
Any info would be REALLY helpful.

TheOne - 01-06-08 17:05 Negatives on your appliactions are:
1) Low USMLE scores.
2) Multiple attempts.
3) Old graduation date.
4) Poor med school performance with low ranking.
5) No USCE (US Clinical Experince).
6) Being out of practicing medicine for long time even in your home country.
7) Unfortunatley "I don't want to be discrimantive here"...being an IMG.
"When do you know you have to start prepping yourself for the Scramble?"
Once it's January and someone didn't have interviews or had few, then it's the time to prepare for the scramble. Good luck.
