Can I possibly squeeze it in 3 months? I want to apply for a Pathology residency in the next match. If I want to apply to ERAS next sep 1st, I have 11 months in all, and I need to give at least 5-6 to step 1, as it has more weightage for Pathology residencies.

i think you should start studying ASAP and see how confident you are about your knowledge, because the competition level has gone up and you cannot compromise on scores.. i think 3 months might not be sufficient..

U need to prepare for a period of 5-6 months full-time.

most of them take 6-8 months depending on the prior knowledge and the amount of time that they can put on studies....
