hav sum1 ever heard of an IMG vid scores of step 2ck 96, step2 cs pass ,step 3 90---all1 st attempt ,but step 1 3rd att vid score of 99 + 1mth USCE getting into residency( + 5 yrs of graduation ) ?

Re: how many chances??????? anasarca0101 - 04-21-08 14:27 wow, it's a good profile, although i'm not sure about the 3 attemps on step 1 with such high score does give u a credit, another pitfall is the more than 5 yrs of graduation... but overall i think it's still good.

Re: how many chances??????? radhamesramos - 04-22-08 13:42 Again, I hate to try to guess what chances are for somebody to get in, why I say guessing, because somebody with 99/99/99 and Five years graduation didn't MAtch, ad another one I know 77/78/no step 3 got into OB/Gyn...the difference? Programs they applied and how they applied. I met in one of my interviews a guy that had two 99s and only one year out of med school, but he had serious social impairments, so probably his interview didn't go too well...I don't know.
The thing is that everybody has a chance to get in, the thing is to try to discover the weak points of your application and try to improve them. There is a lot of programs out there willing to give you the chance of an interview and if they really find who you are...you'll get the position
