I am planning to do my residency in the USA. How much do I need to budget for a month for:
1. Food
2. Rent
3. Electricity, water etc bills
4. Transportation

laparotomy - 01-07-08 00:18 I have two children, how much is it to pay for nursery school and primary school? Where can I get information for this? What is the cheapest but still good option?

radhamesramos - 01-07-08 09:37 Always depends on the city you are going to live in. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, are very expensive, big cities (though I have a friend who came to Chicago with wife and two kids, and is doing just fine)
In some cities you can live with 1500, in others, 2500-3000. Depends where do you live and how you organize yourself

mindswapper - 01-07-08 23:31 This is a vague Q and very difficult to answer since it depends entirely on where you live, especially when as a family.
As an individual, the stipend is good to support or... even for a couple, it is good. But I dunno if it is enuff for a 'family'!
