mohhaider - 10-06-08 13:20 Hi docmle1 ,
There is a book named First Aid for USMLE step 2 CS ,I think it's a good material for that test .In addition CS test is a practical test , so you must see some physical examination demonstrations DVDs and then practise them .

sackatdoc - 10-06-08 13:25 we certainly can!!hi,docmle1,first I like to explore what amount of information have you already gathered regarding the exam, if you are starting from scratch, then i would advise you to go thru all threads in this section and you will get a fair idea, what are you really dealing with, but just to take off,i'll answer your questions curtly-FIRST AID is the book for the exam, it spells out for you the A to zee that you may ever need to get equiped to face it.once you have gone thru it, you will know how to go about as well, and still if you have specific concerns, this forum members would love to take care of them, good luck with that!!!

mohhaider - 10-08-08 02:47 I found that there are some helpful DVDs demonstrating the history taking and physical examinations for CS test ,so if you search the web ,you can find alot of them because to see something is a better than reading it .GOOD LUCK .

winner123 - 01-14-09 01:55 LOTS OF TIMED PRACTICE with a partner only will make u successful.
For clinical refer to the minicases on the first aid and u world cases.Do each and every clinical scenario.
For SEP try to speak slowly, loudly and in simple words.
U cannot learn communication skills from any book.
Live Standardised Patient mock tests will help a lot.
