ACLS, PALS, ATLS, etc. these are the ones that helps more.

i took red cross cpr class for professional rescuer last time because the doctor i worked for wanted to take cpr class before joining observership.

Re: if i take course in alternative medi radhamesramos - 01-14-08 10:11 ACLS, you can take it everywhere. ATLS is in the U.S only, and outside of the U.S for surgical residents. They expire though.

You should get your CME credits even if you're an IMG, try medscape.

I dunno, but one program called a friend of mine and asked him to have at least 110 hours of CME before considering him for an interview, weired, huh?

Re: if i take course in alternative medi radhamesramos - 02-19-08 19:25 for residency purposes, the CME are not very important, believe, I have a lot of credits and they didn't even ask me or really cared. For further licensure stuff, CME is very helpful
