The incidence of Cardio vascular disease is lower in women because of estrogen protective effect

The answer is B but androgens are also cardioprotective. When androgens are deprived for prostate cancer treatment the incidence of cardiovascular disease increases. On the other hand, and for some reasons, HRT is only recommended to symptomatic patients
