"induces synthesis of a number of antiviral proteins (e.g. RNAse and Protein Kinase). R: Kaplan 2008. I am not sure however if this is the only mechanism.

(D) action is related to the synthesis of a protein that inhibits mRNA function....hopefully this is the one as it affects protein function..
