hi guys i m kind of stuck on two things here , i need to take step 2 cs in july and i m preparing for step 2 ck ryte now but i cannot attempt in before the end of april so i wanna know when should i apply for visa , i mean should i apply for it now or should i apply for it after step 2 ck , it all depends on how much time it takes to get visa, plz any pakistani doctors help me out and tell me how much time on avg does it takes and what should i do .

I think it wud be better to go for the visa interview with both the scores in hand.That way u wud decrease the chances of yur visa getting rejected.However, u can schedule yur visa interview date before even taking yur Step-2CK by filling the online application and paying the fees.
In our location it does not take more than 2-4 days to get the visa after the interview.
I think in yur location it can take more time due to more stringent checks involved before issuing a visa although I think that may not be the case with every visa applicant there.

U can choose one of the dates from the available ones while u submit the online application.
Why do not u also get familiar with the website of the US embassy in yur location?

Yes, u probably cannot yurself schedule a visa appointment online.U have to schedule yur appointment thro' American express service,because yur visa application is not handled by the VFS like it is in India.I first had thought that yur embassy will aslo be providing the same services as are provided by VFS in India.BTW,here is the link for yur visa application:
