INTERVIEW INVITATION BY MISTAKE ???

Last month I received a kind invitation for an interview at a Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for an Internal Medicine Program, via ERAS. To this point, everything was OK (congratulation included), but here comes the unbelievable: 48 hs later I received an e-mail without signature with this text: "I apologize profusely. There was a problem with our program yesterday,
Tuesday, 10/14/08, at approximately 2:52 p.m., and a mass number of
invitations were sent by mistake at approximately

Please know that we are still going through the selection process and if you
are selected a second invitation email will be sent.

For those who have already scheduled appointments. These will remain. Please
do not call or email for confirmation or to set up another appointment.

Again I apologize and good luck to you in the future."

I was awaiting for any explanation or reconsideration until now, but nothing!
Do any of you heard about this evil joke?
I think that we deserve a minimum respect as physicians that trusted in the ERAS system and the Hospitals involved. Does this Hospital send mass invitations?, isn't it an individual and serious procedure? I really don't know what to think.
Of course I am about to make a formal complaint, but i'd like to Know your valuable opinoion before, and if anyone could tell me where should I send my complaint, besides ECFMG or AMA, I will thank you so much.
