"Knock, knock.. Good morning Mr./Mrs./Ms. (last name), I'm Dr (last name) and I'll be your physician, I'll first put this drape on your legs so you feel more comfortable.. (Drape the patient).. Whats seems to be the problem?"

Re: introduce your self sackatdoc - 06-18-08 06:34 i think from knock knock to' i am your physcian" is ok but since we know from information outside his presenting complain from door way information,why to bug already hassled sp to repeat for you one more time.Kind &polite way could be "i have learned that-"and thats what brings you here right,I think help aSP he'll help u.but imagine what sort of psyche these SP must be of to employ themselves in this kind of job.After 12repeats(i guess thats the no. of candidates in each day) of same thing,howmuch they can do justice to remember which guy did what while checking the checklist.GOD BLESS

They evaluate you right after you leave the door when you are writing the report. As radha said the 10 minutes in between encounters.

I agree. If the SP likes you she/he may forgive some of your mistakes.

Re: introduce your self sackatdoc - 08-02-08 13:10 dr amrita its a rumor around in usmle circuits telling that phil has higher failure rates as compared to other centers, not substantiated with any proofs or stats. i think you should be confident and prepared, thats all that matters.
