mohhaider - 10-16-08 12:52 The answer is diverticulosis as it's the most common cause of massive gastrointestinal bleeding in elderly .Ulcerative colitis occur in yonger age group ,CA colon presents with chronic bleeding and anemia ,and ishemic colitis will have other symptoms before the bleeding .

How come, Hemorroids. It is unlikely to have massive bleeding from rectum

Absolutely no Mr. Sackatdoc,I just made some analysis of what you wrote before and some linking to draw a relationship .Projection is not my self-defence machanism as I'm very sure that I have one job right now,CK .No palce for other secondory matters .

For bleeding... yes for diverticulitis but no for diverticulosis.

Re: Massive Rectal Bleeding sackatdoc - 10-26-08 07:41 dont know if others understand you or not but i certainly dont, when we come here on the doctok, we expect to let ourselves down, get help, discuss problems which may not be always academic coz atleast i am a human, and my mind is engrossed with many things other than study, so my point is had this been some official site like ECFMG or ERAS, i would have uderstood that by chatting we are defeating the purpose of exam or match but this place is meant to help us in a way that we want not what our bosses(i suppose we have none)want, or we are bound or tied up by some rules which atleast i havent seen pasted by INSITU ANY WHERE!!!so Haider my advice, your being a cop as a joke though started by you before, has no longer remained one but has become a serious issue and frankly i dont have friends who are busy being cops with their own friends,if they try they loose me
