it looks like a transient ischaemic attack. so we have to rule out cause of emboli...which is most often from the heart.

yes it looks like TIA, we should rule out the causes of TIA in young patients always, mc source could be heart , so order TTE...

The history is suggestive of a transient ischaemic attack hence shuld immediately be taken up for carotid doppler to rule out any carotid artery occlusion or carotid artery thrombus cos as the saying goes "prevention is better than cure"......MRI of head is not indicated in such early stage as it is not cost frndly n brain may not reveal any pathology bcos its only a TIA n not a full fledged CVA.
