bingousmle - 08-02-08 10:52 very true.regression is an immature defence in which the individual returns to the earlier stage of development. blocking(transient inability to remember), somatization(psychic derivatives transformed into real bodily symptoms), and introjection(asssimilating into self the features of external world) are othes types of immature defence mechanisms
