A 34-year-old migrant worker from Mexico presents to the emergency room with a several-week history of fever, chills and night sweats. He states he’s had a sudden loss in weight and easily loses his breath when walking up a flight of stairs. In the emergency room, he begins to cough up blood. On examination, he has tenderness over his back and palpable lymph nodes. A biopsy of his lungs would show a combination of which two types of necrosis?

* A. Coagulative and liquefactive
* B. Liquefactive and fibrinoid
* C. Fat and fibrinoid
* D. Liquefactive and gangrenous
